On 9 November 2024 TechnoAfrika & First Lego League hosted the first ever Robotics regional competition in Mpumalanga, with schools from Nkangala & Gert Sibande Districts.
On 6-7 December 2024, FirstSA Lego League Hosted the biggest Robotics Competition in Southern Africa, TechnoAfrika participated, together with 4 Teams from Mpumalanga.............
TechnoAfrika will proudly be hosting and facilitating a 2 day Unisa Science Centre Robotics Training for Teachers in Nkangala. The Training will be a hands-on practical training for Teachers, Robotics coaches and prospective Robotics Teachers , coaches and Mentors in Middelburg as well as Nkangala. It will be covering the basics for Robotics and coding.
TechnoAfrika Discovery Centre, & the Mpumalanga Action Movement and partnering Schools will proudly be hosting an Science, Technology and Robotics Open Day for Middelburg Schools.
It will also be the hand-over and Opening of the TechnoAfrika Satellite Centre in Mhluzi, which will be handover by COFA ( Christian Outreach for Africa) at St Peter Christian College.
The purpose for this event is for Schools to showcase their hands-on or interactive science initiatives or activities, A platform for Science Engagement and for companies, the Education Department in Steve Tshwete, Mpumalanga Action Movement, TechnoAfrika and other stakeholders to engage. A platform for TechnoAfrika to showcase it's STEM vision and mission for the Municipality.e.
