'why we do what we do"

"URGENT NEED FOR

FUTURE STEM TECHNOCRATS, LEADERS, INNOVATORS & AN INSPIRED WORKFORCE."

As a key developmental strategy our government in South Africa invest a higher percentage of its budget towards education, more than the USA, UK, and other developed countries. But regardless of this great investment by the Government, and other stakeholders , our basic education system still has challenges, Science, Technology, Math and Innovation is still wanting. The following are some of the major issues:

  • Lack of STEM infrastructure such as Science Labs, Technology Workshop, Robotics Makespace and ICT Labs.
  • The quality of STEM teaching and learning is lacking,  STEM subjects mainly taught theoretically.
  • There is a less drive towards the 4th Industrial Revolution in most schools
